By car - a 2.5 hour drive from Stockholm City Centre Schisshyttan is situated a few kilometers off main road No. 50 just north of Ludvika where it is signposted. After 3 km the house will appear on your left hand side.

By air
There are domestic flights from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to Borlänge Airport, approximately 20 km north of Schisshyttan. Taxi operators at the airport will take you to Schisshyttan, however, best to book before you set out. Car rental is also available at the airport.

By train
Frequent rail way access is available from all major cities to either Ludvika or Borlänge.
